Are these Boots winterproof??

I just bought my shoes.. and it doesn't say anything if they are rain proof, waterproof or winterproof..

I live in Yellowknife NWT and I find these boots are great with winter socks in the winter and my feet are fine, dry and warm. Ive been pleased with these work boots for the past 6 yrs.

No they are not rain, water or winter proof. Best bet is to purchase something to protect your investment. A product I would recommend is Pro-Tex All Weather Water and Stain Repellant also available at your local Canadian Tire store.

These boots are not designed with a composite toe or additional lining(s) for the winter season. We do offer two other types of Winter CSA boots that may be more applicable to your needs:

#87-5177 Kodiak “Quantum” 8” Work Boot, lined with 200g of Thinsulate
#87-5225, Absolute Zero CSA Winter Work Boot, rated to -60C

They have the same sole protectioNas any other boot carrying the green triangle. That being a plate primarily in the arch area. The heel area may also have a separate plate, some do, but that area is typically thick enough to pass without a plate. The ball area never has one as it needs to bend or flex. All boots are the same in that regard.
