What do you mean by "adjustable"? 84-0140 has pivoting foot pedals for the most natural movement.

Question

how high should ceiling be for this elliptical?

there might occasionally be a 6'0 height user of this Tempo 615 elliptical. trying to work if the machine should be put in the garage which has a very high ceiling, or if we can get away with the house ceiling of 7'10

I'm 6 feet tall. My basement ceiling is 8'3" high and I have about 7-8 inches above my head. So 7'10" should be fine.

You might want to read my review before you buy it though. Keep your receipt handy in case you want to return it within your 30 days.
