Customer Questions & Answers for
Tempo 611T Treadmill

611T treadmill uses its durable construction and powerful drive motor for a steady belt performance. Uses AEROsoft™ Plus cushioning system to help the impact to your body as you run, keeping your legs and feet fresh. Treadmill frame folds quickly and safely for easy storage. Treadmill uses a 1.25 CHP motor that provides smooth power at all speeds, giving steady belt motion underfoot for all types of users. Its minimal motor and belt noise allows you to listen to music or television at normal volume while exercising. Continuous horse power is a more accurate measurement of a treadmill's performance, as it maintains this specific horsepower over an extended period of time. Quick speed keys automatically adjust to three preset belt speeds, and quick incline keys automatically adjust to three preset positions

Does this unit fold flat enough to fit under a bed? What are the approximate dimensions when it is folded?

answer 1
It is not the kind of treadmill that folds flat so that you can slide under a bed: the deck folds up on an incline (see linked image) so you can store the unit out of the way. When the deck is lowered, the unit is 67" long; by comparison, when it is folded, the length is 31"

Actually it is both... The 1.25hp rating is what the motor will provide continuously 24 hrs a day without burning out. The 2.25hp rating is the maximum horsepower the motor can provide for short durations of time.

I expect it is both a website and a flyer misprint. If you look at the crate in the store, it clearly states a 2.25 HP motor.

Standing upright - ready to use - it's approx 5 feet long by 2 1/2 feet wide - it's also recommended to have about 3 feet free space on either side. It can fold up as well.

It does not have that technology built into the treadmill. In most cases that feature can only be found on treadmills above $999.

Question

Has anyone found it too short?

I was reading a consumer report site and it recommended treadmills be no shorter than 49 inches. This one is only 45; has anyone found it too short? Thanks!

If you are happy with jogging at 10-12 km/hour then I bet that this unit is o.k. I ..think.. that if you try to run over that then you will need a longer belt. When I run at around 14-16 km/hour for only 1 min. at the time then you I secure myself by holding the handles (which I do most of the time).

As well I bet that a taller person needs a longer belt. I am 5'8" and very happy with it.

Oh! That unit is only working in miles ... not kms.

We have a low basement ceiling and need to find a treadmill that is less than six inches off the floor. Could anyone tell me how high the top the deck on this model is from the floor?

The average step on height for our treadmills is only 4 inches, so the 611T should be just fine for your basement. The deck thickness is 15 mm.

The weight limit on the product is 250lbs. While not likely, if something happened to the treadmill during the warranty period, the manufacture can void the warranty.
