The unit has an adequate cut out on the back panel, however, one might cut the opening slightly bigger if your computer case is a 18" tower. I've had to modify this cabinet and put extra holes for the different computer accessories in other places as well. The entire cabinet is completely modifiable, according to your needs, but, be careful not to change the overall outside structure, otherwise you may loose the cabinets strength.

I had trouble at first with the heat so I cut out a square in the back. No one sees that part anyway. I don't have the overheating problem anymore.

19” computer monitor should fit. The monitor opening dimensions are 19 5/8” W x 22 5/8” H x 19 1/2" D.

Sorry I don't have a tape measure handy but I can tell you my HP all-in-one printer/scanner/copier fits perfectly on the slide-out shelf. I think all HP models are pretty much same size, not sure about other brands. Hope that helps!
