Use the clock button to set the correct time: by press both H button and clock button for setting hours; M together with clock button to set up minutes.
Then press P button to program your schedule. Once finish, you can use power button to switch from ON, Auto(set up by program), or Off. I've set up last year, so this year only need to adjust time. Good luck!

Yes because the timer has pre-set 'weekday/weekend' groups. For example, I can set a on/off program (that counts as 2 programs) for 'Mon, Wed, Fri' and another one for 'Tue, Wed, Sat'. You can set up to maximum of 10 or 15 programs (not sure about the #)

Question

What batteries does this timer take?

I know the batteries are the small round, flat, silver ones, but what is the number on them. It doesn't seem to be marked anywhere on the timer and of course the instructions went out a long time ago.

The consumer can choose either AUTO ON or AUTO off to resume program after they use the permanent ON or permanent OFF override function.

AUTO ON will keep or set the timer ON until the next OFF cycle and will run as per programmed afterwards.

AUTO OFF will keep or set the timer OFF until the next ON cycle and will run as per programmed afterwards.
