Canadian Tire will not order the replacement shade for you, at least not at my location. They did however give me a number to call with the model number, but of course nothing in their system matches the model number I was given.

No, it does not come with a blank, you have to install the light to cover the wiring.

We just purchased the 48" milano fan and when we turn on the light kit the lights only stay on for a short period of time and then they go out.

Wattage of bulbs used is 40 Watts. Another identical fan on same switched circuit is working okay.

This fan is a dual mount fan so you do not have to use the downrod. I believe transitional may refer to the style of the fan

48” would work, our usual guideline is for any room over 12’ x 12” we suggest a 52” fan.

I have it installed but do not remember how to reverse the blade in opposite directiion.

There is a reverse switch just above the light kit to change the direction.
