Question

Isn't the winch motor moisture proof or can it freeze up?

During cold weather the plough was working fine and when the weather warmed up then froze again the plough winch motor does not seem to work. There is power going to it but it seems to be frozen up. Any ideas to solve this problem?

The NEW winch motor that now comes with the Snowbear plows is NOT waterproof. Bought 1 filled with water & shorted out, Replaced under warranty did the same. Buy a Superwinch like they used to use & your problem will go away

I would not recommend putting a plow on a minivan for more then one reason. A) the frame is not built for the stress that plowing creates. It can tweak or twist the frame. B) the lack of power and traction. It would be hard to push heavy snow and banks with such a vehicle.
Just an overall bad idea

It would probably do teh trick. People use 15hp lawn tractors to push a 4 foot plow. I'd stick with a max 82 inch plow though.

You would be better off with the BB200 Plow sold at Canadian Tire or the
Frontline plow which are a better fit for your truck

They bolt right on the vehicle you can go to
www.snowplowsonline.com
and see the actual mount with mounting instructions go to the mount guide page pick out the mount you need
and then go to mount order page click on the mount and the page comes up and you can click on the Here
where is say click here to view mount diagram and it will come up.

It depends on the model of Ram truck you own. If you have a Ram 1500, then the application is good using our mount # 64314 and CTC # 0408989. If you have the Ram 2500, then we don’t currently have an exact fitting mount for that truck. However, you could buy our professional mount and adapt it to fit your truck. That part number is # 60001 and can be ordered by your local store.
