its a truck put the 88 inch if u ever change your truck for a full size truck it will be better also,for 600.00 difference i would go with a bigger plow,,,,,,,trust me i have no regrets

Question
Isn't the winch motor moisture proof or can it freeze up?
During cold weather the plough was working fine and when the weather warmed up then froze again the plough winch motor does not seem to work. There is power going to it but it seems to be frozen up. Any ideas to solve this problem?

yes they do its a special order u dont need a 4,000 or a 6,000 plow on that truck canadian tire plow is perfect for straight push snow,,if u need to angle it so be it get out and do it

you have a $50,000 SUV and you want a $2000 plow on it, you would be better off with a arctic plow thay are about $4000 and you dont have to get out to turn the blade.

The mounting bracket is #61510. Between the snowplow and mounting bracket, you will receive everything you will need to attach the plow up to your vehicle.

I have a 2004 Chev Avalanche 1500 4x4. Snowbear only lists a mount for this model in a 2005 or newer model year. Will that mount also fit my 2004?

The mount I bought was supposed to be made for my 95 jeep grand cherokee.....i still had to make minor modifiactions to get it to mount correctly...so I dont see that one year being a major difference

Yes, that is all you need to purchase. The plow comes complete with winch, wiring and controls in addition to the blade and framework.

Is there enough weight (assuming there is no down pressure) to pull back snow with the plow down in reverse? Has anyone plowed in reverse?

There is no down pressure, and the small 82" plow only weighs 200 lbs. It is not suitable for backdragging.
