For a "top up" I recommend the 50/50 mix. As it gets colder, in the fall, check the antifreeze level recommended for your area.

As there are many variables to consider when discussing vehicle repairs, we would encourage you to contact your local Canadian Tire Store to discuss this matter further. We believe this to be the best avenue in order to ensure the information you receive is as accurate as possible.

If you look at the MSDS at http://msds.canadiantire.ca, it says Recochem.
In certain Motomaster coolant QA older questions, there were answers by a Recochem expert.

You should verify the current concentration of your coolant (prior to adding ) to make sure that your vehicle is ready for winter. Once you've determined the freezing point, you can add water to the coolant to reach your desired concentration. You can use #29-0030-2 to verify concentration, boiling point, and general condition of your coolant.

Question

How to handle spilled coolant

When topping up my reservoir I accidently spilled some on an electrical connector. Is it better to rinse the area with water or use a rag to clean it up? Does this coolant pose any risk to the electronics?

Yes, the MM Asian Coolant will work fine.Response from our vendor: "Product #29-3071 will give the customer their full extended life properties. They have the super long life in the car from the factory which is pink now. If they use #29-3040 MM Global it will work but they will not get their super long life properties of the Asian coolant which is more than 5 years. It is amber in color on purpose to blend with any color."
