There is no need to do that as it basically takes this unit to charge your battery fully 1hour and 45 minutes or 100% duty cycle, you can leave it on a trickle charge if you want but select the lowest Amp this will ensure that you will have a full charge.
This is the best charger to date as it allows the users check the battery leakage at the flick of a switch.

answer 3
Yes you can leave this charger on the vehicle for Months as long as you set it at a 2A charge rate. Make sure the battery is fully charged first before setting it at 2A. 2A is not sufficient to bring up a dead/low battery.

answer 4
Yes you can on ATO but you would be better to use a much smaller one to save on power as the fan on this one will remain running and the big transformer takes much more idle current.

Older, "wheeled" chargers weigh 50 - 70 lbs. depending on the size of the transformer inside. I don't know if this one uses "inverter" technology but the transformer must be quite small. I haven't weighed it but I have lifted it easily with one hand and I think the unit weighs less than 15 lbs.

Yes. You can charge manually at 2, 20 or 55 amps. You can set a manual timer (up to 2 hours, if I recall) or set it to charge indefinitely, which must be monitored or a fire can ensue.

Yes, you can do a manual charge using the timer function however using a timed charge requires you to monitor the charging as the charger will not turn off until the set time elapses.

This charger will desulphate batteries. It will not equalize batteries. Two of our new NOCO Genius chargers - the G7200 (model 11-1924) and G25000 (model 11-1925) - do have equalization capabilities. Learn more at www.geniuschargers.com.
